Contact lenses
Contact lenses, for the people who wear them
Most of our patients wear glasses. For those who wear contact lenses, or want to start, we can do the exam and fitting at the door.
Renewing a prescription
An exam and a check that the lenses fit and the eyes are healthy, so the prescription can be renewed.
A new fitting
We measure, choose a lens, put a trial pair in and check how it sits. A follow-up visit makes sure it is comfortable.
Handling help
Putting lenses in and taking them out can be hard on stiff hands. We show wearers and caregivers a method that works.
Your prescription is yours
Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.
A contact lens prescription is released when the fitting is complete. If a fitting needs a follow-up visit, we say so before we begin.
Contact lens questions
Can you fit someone who has never worn contact lenses?
Yes, after an exam shows that contact lenses are a good choice. The first fitting is followed by a short visit to check comfort.
Do you stock every type of lens?
We carry trial lenses for the most common needs and order anything else. We tell you how long it takes before you decide.
Ask about contact lenses
Tell the coordinator you wear or want to wear contact lenses when you call.
